From Porto to Pinhão: hike, cruisie and wines
Description
In a Tesla Model 3 electric car, this private trip will take you from Porto to the Alto Douro wine region, a cultural landscape declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It includes a stop in Peso da Régua and a visit to Pinhão. Along the way, we’ll pass two farms. We’ll enjoy a light meal and a wine tasting at the end. This is a 6km hike of easy difficulty, with views over Pinhão and the Douro River.
The N222 was considered one of the most beautiful roads in Portugal. It passes through the Douro region, known for its stunning vineyard landscapes, following the Douro River for several stretches. The stretch between Peso da Régua and Pinhão is lovely, offering breathtaking views of the vineyard-covered hillsides and the river. In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to discover panoramic views between Pinhão and the mouth of the Tua River on a charming cruise aboard a traditional rabelo boat. The wine tasting will occur at Quinta das Carvalhas or Quinta do Seixo. You will return to your starting point with a whole soul.
